Jac Mavity
Jac had a career in advertising before becoming an English teacher in 1993. She has a first class degree in English from Brunel University and has been teaching in academically demanding English departments in both the independent sector and the state sector for the past eighteen years. She has been doing private tutoring for the past two years. All the students she has tutored have either achieved their personal best or excelled in their public examinations.
Helen Murton
Helen has been teaching for thirty six years at secondary level and she has been a charismatic and successful Head of English for eighteen years, managing a large and innovative English department. She has a vast experience of different examining boards and the continuum of first class results are a tribute to her expert knowledge of an enormous range of different texts and her adaptable teaching style.
